Frederik

Reliable and versatile vessel for demanding tasks - even in adverse weather conditions

ship drawing

The Frederik was built as a customs boat in 1985 at the Fassmer shipyard in Bremen and served as a customs boat based in Bremerhaven. In 2011, the ship came under the Danish flag and refitted as a survey and ROV vessel. The Frederik acted as a tender boat for wind farms before, during and after their construction both at home and abroad. Northern Survey bought the Frederik in 2016 and we greatly appreciate this smaller ship, which is very well equipped in terms of machinery and on the bridge. The Frederik has a great advantage with its shallow draft and its water jets, which means it can operate in shallow waters.

Frederik is suitable for: Geophysical seabed mappingEnvironmental assignments ROV operations
